Alex Lanier Soars to 15th in BWF World Rankings

French badminton star Alex Lanier has continued his impressive form with a significant jump in the latest BWF World Rankings. Following his strong performances at the 2024 Arctic Open and 2024 Denmark Open, Lanier will move up six places to 15th in the rankings update on Tuesday, October 22.

Lanier’s quarter-final finish at the Arctic Open earned him 5,040 points, while his semi-final run at the Denmark Open netted him an additional 7,700 points. This impressive haul of points has propelled him to the top of the French men’s singles rankings, surpassing both Toma Junior Popov (19th) and Christo Popov (28th).

Lanier’s rise in the rankings is a testament to his hard work and dedication. He has consistently shown a high level of play throughout the season, and his recent results have solidified his position as one of the top men’s singles players in the world.
