The International School Sport Federation (ISF) has announced that Serbia will host the 2025 ISF U15 Gymnasiade. This prestigious event, set to take place in the city of Zlatibor from April 4 to 14, will bring together young athletes under the age of 15 from around the globe to compete in a variety of sports, including badminton and para badminton.
The ISF U15 Gymnasiade is a significant platform for young talent, offering them the opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage. The event not only promotes sports excellence but also fosters cultural exchange and friendship among participants from different countries. The inclusion of badminton and para badminton in the games highlights the sport’s growing popularity and its importance in school sports programs worldwide.
A Boost for Badminton and Youth Development
The announcement is particularly exciting for the badminton community, as it underscores the sport’s role in youth development. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has been actively promoting badminton at the grassroots level, and events like the ISF U15 Gymnasiade provide a perfect opportunity to engage young players and inspire the next generation of champions.
Serbia, as the host nation, is expected to deliver a world-class event, with state-of-the-art facilities and a warm welcome for all participants. The country has a rich history of hosting international sports events, and the 2025 ISF U15 Gymnasiade will be another feather in its cap.
