
The China Open (Chinese: 中国羽毛球公开赛) stands as a prominent yearly badminton competition held in the People’s Republic of China. Its importance grew in 2007 when it joined the BWF Super Series, and further in 2018, the Badminton World Federation (BWF) elevated it to Super 1000 status within their World Tour structure.
Since 2023, the China Open has offered a total prize pool of $2,000,000, the largest among other Super 1000 events.
The 2026 edition of China Open will be held at Changzhou Olympic Sports Centre Xincheng Gymnasium in Changzhou from July 21 to July 26, 2026, offering a total prize pool of US$2,000,000.
