The 2024 Japan Open (official and sponsored title: Daihatsu Japan Open 2024) was an international badminton tournament that took place at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, from August 20 to August 25, 2024. The tournament was part of the BWF World Tour Super 750 series on the 2024 BWF World Tour, with a total prize pool of US$850,000.
The 2024 Japan Open was the twenty-first tournament in the 2024 BWF World Tour calendar. The Nippon Badminton Association organized this tournament with sanctions from the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
Alex Lanier and Akane Yamaguchi are the champions in men’s singles and women’s singles, respectively.
