The 2025 India Open (official and sponsored title: Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2025) was an international badminton tournament that took place at the K. D. Jadhav Indoor Hall in New Delhi, India, from January 14 to January 19, 2025. The tournament was part of the BWF World Tour Super 750 series on the 2025 BWF World Tour, with a total prize pool of US$950,000.
Shi Yuqi and Tai Tzu-ying were the defending champions in the men’s singles and women’s singles respectively, but Tai Tzu-ying did not participate this year and Shi Yuqi withdrew before the tournament started.
Badminton powerhouses Viktor Axelsen and An Se-young have once again showcased their dominance at the India Open, with Axelsen securing his hat-trick of titles and Se-young adding a second championship to her impressive resume.
The 2025 India Open saw a remarkable display of diversity, with five different countries claiming titles across the various categories.
