DESCRIPTION:The 2027 Malaysia Open is scheduled for January 21–31\, 20271\, and will be held at the Unifi Arena2 in Kuala Lumpur\, Malaysia. As a BWF World Tour Super 1000 event\, it features a total prize pool of US$2\,000\,000 across singles and doubles categories3. \n\n\n\nThe 2027 Malaysia Open is the first World Tour-level event on the 2027 BWF calendar. It will follow the newly approved scoring system: best-of-three games to 15 points. \n\n\n\nThe minimum prize money for the 2027 Malaysia Open is set at US$2 million\, a nearly 40% increase over the US$1.45 million offered in the previous edition.
