Super 500

Super 500 is the third-highest tournament level in the BWF World Tour circuit. The Super 500 tournaments offer minimum prize money of US$350,000 (2022). The prize money is distributed via the following formula:

Semi-finalist 1.45% 1.45%
Quarter-finalist 0.6% 0.725%
Last 16 0.35% 0.375%

There are qualifying rounds in a Super 500 tournament and the entries will be closed 42 days before the tournament date.

The main draw for all disciplines is 28 plus 4 qualifications. The tournament will be held for six days (Tuesday to Sunday). All qualifying rounds will be held on the first day of the tournament (if any).

Players from the same nation are not separated in the main draw of the Super 500 events. The top fifteen singles players and top ten doubles pairs in the World Ranking will be required to play all Super 500 tournaments, as well as all Super 1000 and Super 750 tournaments.
