Malaysia at the 2022 BWF World Championships

Malaysia competed at the 2022 BWF World Championships in Tokyo, Japan from 22 to 28 August 2022. Malaysia sent 27 shuttlers to play in all five events.

Malaysia won its maiden gold medal at the 2022 BWF World Championships. The history makers were Aaron Chia and Soh Woi Yik who defeated Indonesian veteran Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan in the finals.
