The best women’s singles badminton player of the 2010s

During the last decade, there were eight BWF World Championships and two Summer Olympics successfully held.

In the women’s singles event, three of the eight BWF World Championships gold medals were won by Carolina Marin of Spain (2014 in Copenhagen, 2015 in Jakarta, and 2018 in Nanjing).

The other five were won by players from China (2010 in Paris & 2011 in London), Thailand (2013 in Guangzhou), Japan (2017 in Glasgow), and India (2019 in Basel).

Meanwhile, the Olympics were won by Li Xuerui of China (2012 in London) and Carolina Marin (2016 in Rio).
