2026 Hylo Open
October 27 – November 1 UTC+1
Held at the Saarlandhalle in Saarbrücken, Germany, since 1988, the Hylo Open is a prominent international badminton tournament. Historically known by several names—including the BMW Badminton Cup, Bitburger Open, and SaarLorLux Open—it was originally backed by BMW and Bitburger Brewery before partnering with local eye care brand Hylo in 2021.
The event joined the BWF World Tour as a Super 100 tournament in 2018. It temporarily rose to Super 500 status in 2021 alongside its rebranding to the Hylo Open, before adjusting to a Super 300 level in 2022. On March 31, 2025, BWF restored its Super 500 status for the 2025 and 2026 seasons following the Canada Open’s demotion to Super 300 level.
